1. Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the PetClan application (hereinafter, 'the Application'). By accessing and using the Application, the user (hereinafter, 'the User') agrees to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any of the terms, you must not use the Application.

IMPORTANT: PETCLAN DOES NOT SUBSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY ADVICE.

The Application is a management and information recording tool. Under no circumstances should the information provided by PetClan (including alerts, reminders, or date calculations) be considered as a diagnosis, treatment, or medical prescription.

• Professional Consultations: Always seek the advice of your qualified veterinarian regarding any questions about your pet's health.
• Emergencies: If you think your pet has a medical emergency, contact your veterinarian immediately. Do not rely on the Application for life-or-death situations.
• Biological Variability: Deworming and vaccination reminders are estimates based on general guidelines. Every animal is unique and may require different protocols based on their health status, breed, age, and environment.

3. User Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and updating of the data entered into the Application.

• Health Data: You are responsible for correctly recording vaccination dates, weights, and administered doses. Errors in data entry will result in incorrect reminders.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PetClan's developers and owners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

1. Damage to health or death of pets arising from the use or misuse of the Application's information.
2. Loss of data, service interruptions, or technical failures.
3. Costs of veterinary services incurred or not incurred based on the Application's reminders.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, source code, and logos of PetClan are the exclusive intellectual property of its developers, unless otherwise indicated (such as open-source libraries). Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

6. Privacy and Data

We respect your privacy. The data collected is used exclusively for the operation of the Application (management of pet profiles). We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
